Come help us celebrate VE Day!

Come help us celebrate VE Day! May 10th, we need a few Reenactors to come talk with the public about the 80th Anniversary of VE Day at the Gold Coast Gold Coast Railroad Museum in Miami. Ideally, wwii impressions would be homefront themed, but we would also accept demobilized ETO GI’s, German POW’s, or pacific theater “active” kits. If you wish to bring a large display, you can, but I personally likely will just bring my homefront display of Civil Air Patrol and Army Air Forces. Message me if you’re interested! I will be sending a signup form soon! Follow this posting on FB

A Passion for WWII Reproductions: First Look at a New Jeep Cap

Source: WTPSWWII.com One of the things I truly admire is when an enterprising individual with a passion for WWII history decides to tackle the challenge of recreating authentic garments or items. Recently, I had the opportunity to get my hands on a first-run Jeep cap from a gentleman in the Czech Republic who is dedicated to designing a more accurate reproduction of this classic piece of WWII headgear. This first iteration is a solid start, but as with any passion project, there are some quirks to iron out. The creator has already noted that the color is slightly off, and the knit pattern differs from original examples. The knit is…

Let’s find out together!” https://digital-fourten.creator-spring.com/listing/wtsp-k-ration-dinner-shirt?product=46&variation=2744WTSP K-Ration Dinner Shirt
