“Thank you for reaching out about joining our WWII reenacting unit. We’re a Florida-based group (primarily central and SW Florida) and welcome beginners with no prior gear or experience. To help us guide you, please share what specifically interests you—combat role (e.g., infantry, artillery, support) or civilian impression—along with any prior experience, your general location, and your availability for events. If you’re considering a combat role, let us know if you have any preference for a specific unit type or ‘combat arm,’ and whether you’re 16+ for participation in firearm-based demonstrations (under supervision and following all safety standards). We host events across Florida and can either connect you with an upcoming event to attend or schedule a call to walk you through expectations, the basic kit, and next steps. If our unit isn’t the best fit for your interests or location, we’re happy to point you to another group that is.”
